Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, I always dreamed about what lay beyond my backyard. The smell of pine trees and sight of freshly fallen snow was always magical, but I yearned for more. So, after high school, I packed up my bags, left the mittens behind, and moved to sunny Santa Barbara for undergrad. After graduation, I moved to San Francisco for a year, then to Malibu/Los Angeles to complete my Master’s degree at Pepperdine. Of course, I couldn’t leave the beach quite yet, so I worked as an Undergraduate Advisor at UC Santa Barbara for two years post grad. In 2021, my partner and I decided we wanted a new adventure and bigger space for our pup, so moved out to Utah and lived in the Salt Lake City area for four years. We added another pup between that time, became engaged, celebrated our wedding and tied the knot, traveled to Europe for our honeymoon, and moved to another new state. We are now living our best New Englander lives out in Boston Massachusetts! 

A little more about me: my partner and I have two corgis named Comet and Alfie. We brought Comet home in May of 2020, and we adopted Alfie New Years Eve 2022. I like listening to true crime podcasts, Netflix and chillin, traveling, opting outside, Autumn and all the fun Halloween things (Christmas is my favorite holiday though), and reading/writing. I also live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy life’s pleasures in moderation. I am big on cute but comfy clothing and like to think I am a bit of a fashionista. I try to immerse myself in creative outlets (hence my blog) and I make a point to live life to the fullest!

Consequently, you are probably wondering what the heck is this blog about?! I mean, isn’t that why you navigated over to my website? I thought writing about travel would be fun (and I am definitely doing this, but in a realistic way, because let’s face it, I am not showering in money). But I also thought it might be cool to incorporate a lifestyle blog and talk about whatever pops into my mind. Don’t get me wrong, I am that basic matcha, country music lovin’, curl up and read a book, white girl. But I also have so many more passions/thoughts beyond this surface-level stuff. So grab your wine (or beverage of choice) and keep calm and read on!
